100 other ways find what you want

May 9, 2007

I Google!
Everybody googles!
The term Google is part of our lives and become even part of the dictionary.
Google, Yahoo!, MSN, and Ask.com (in that order) are responsible for around 98% of total searches.
Who are the 2%?
The answer is, they are more than 100 other web search engines.
I haven’t tried all but some as per example KartOO a clustering engine that presents the results in a dimensional map that one can navigate trough.
Another one that I really like is Quintura because of the tag cloud system.
For an Excel spreadsheet of the entire Top 100 Alternative Search Engines, go to: http://charlesknightseo.com/list.aspx or email the author at Charles@CharlesKnightSEO.com
