Hi, if you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed, or you might want to check about me . Thanks for visiting MarketingEasy.net!

There are numerous ways to shortcut your searches at Google.

Below I’ll show 9 of ones I constantly use:

  1. Quote marks - using “search term” in a Google search will give you more accurate results. Example, a search for the term New Ipod will return you 242,000,000 results, but if you quote marks New Ipod Google will refine the search to the exact term and return you 1,870,000 results.

  3. Excluding Words - You can delete from your search, all combinations you don’t really want. This can be done using the minus (-) character before the world you are searching. An example… if you are planning to go to Paris and want to search tips but want to avoid Paris Hilton’s results, it’s just simple, your query should be like Paris -hilton

  5. Restrict Search within a website - If you want to find everything about a specific topic in a specific website you also can. Let’s assume you want to search posts about SEM on MarketingEasy.net, you just need to type site:marketingeasy.net sem
