I worked once with a Client with different communication centers.
Different areas were allowed to email directly their customers with newsletters, promotions, etc anytime they want as many time they want.
It caused overflow of customers email boxes and loses of hundreds of subscribers a month.
Even that the best solution was to have an unique communication police, internal politics didn’t let it go.
If you have a lot of email newsletters or send one very frequently, consider giving your customers the option to ‘opt-down’, instead of only ‘opt-out’ of their email newsletter subscription, this might save you couple of unsubscribed customers.
