Blog Action day is a day event where thousands of bloggers unite to discuss a single issue – poverty.

This movement aim to raise awareness, initiate action and to shake the web!
This year The Blog action day happened on 15/10, however I decided to publish my action today in case some of readers didn’t get it from another blog.
Living in Australia, but coming from a great but unfair country like Brazil, My view is that poverty problem isn’t a lack of resources to feed and shelter everyone, it is a problem with the distribution of these resources.
The answer to changing poverty is really a question: What am I willing to do about it?
There are uncountable ways for us to help!
Personally I believe people want to be fed, but they want to do by themselves. They want to have a place to call home and they want to have their pride to come back home with food bought with their money, not someone else’s money, bu money coming from their work.
Based on the premise that men are good, I decided to help with a microcredit of A$250 for Mr.Aman start his own business.
However if you are not willing to spend money you still can help.
My Friend Tad (onreact) from Seo 2.0 (must read SEO 2.0 blog) built a list of 10 organizations that fight global hunger and how to help them.
Please read his post on Blog action Day.
You can help with money, with time or spreading the word.

Cheers
Lucio Ribeiro
