Initiative and “Finishative“
This is a test of personality that will be able to modify your life.
Therefore, please pay attention.
Initiative is the ability that all we have to create, to initiate projects and to conceive new ideas. Some people have much initiative and others have little.
Finishative (a made up word) means the ability that some people possess to finish what they have initiated or to conclude what others have started.
It is the capacity to place in practical an idea and to take it until the end.
The human beings can be divided in three groups, depending on the degree of initiative and Finishative of each one:
- the entrepreneurs,
- the initiators and the
- Finishers – without counting the bureaucrats.
Entrepreneurs are those that have initiative and Finishative. A select group that is not contented in being in the idea and goes the field to implant it.
Initiators are creative, have a thousand ideas, but they abominate the routine necessary to place them in practical.
They are philosophers, scientists, professors, intellectuals and the majority of the economists and marketeers.
Histories of economists are famous who had never signed a promissory note.
Finishing its the weak point of this group.
Finishers are those that like to implant projects. Its attention goes more for the detail of what for the theory.
They are not worried about the immense boring process of the repetition of day-by-day and they do not discourage with the innumerable frustrations of the implantation.
In this group it is the majority of the executives, entrepreneurs, administrators and engineers.
This classification explains many of the contradictions of the modern world.
Entrepreneurs discover quickly that to be implanting its proper ideas it is thing of egoistic entrepreneur. It limits the growth.
There are more people with excellent ideas than people capable to implant it.
That’s why entrepreneurs get rich and intellectuals, professors, and the majority of marketeers – including myself – die poor.
If Bill Gates had restricted himself to implant its proper ideas he probably it would have stopped in the Visual Basic.
He made his fortune/richness because he was skillful in implanting the other people ideas.
This classification explains the reason why normally intellectual hates entrepreneur, and vice-verse.
There’s an enormous injustice in the measure to where the profits flow for those who implanted an idea, and not for those who had it.
An idea in the paper is useless
Initiators want to be famous, finishers want to be useful.
The initiators live their life changing, testing, looking new things, and finish having a much more rich life even that’s less profitable.
If you have initiative but does not have finishative speed up and start an administration course or find a “finisher” partner, try Linkedid as a source.
There’s a Chinese say “Who knows and does not make probably doesn’t know very much”.
If you are a finisher but does not have initiative why do not start a course to active your imaginary, your creativity?
Finally, if you do not have one or another, I just can say: bad luck.
Cheers
