Facebook makes it easier for digital marketers to run promotions on Pages
Facebook have made a number of changes lately that benefit digital marketers. Today Facebook published a blog post announcing a significant change for Facebook Pages, removing the requirement that promotions be delivered through third-party applications only.
With these new Facebook Page Terms, digital marketers can now administer promotions straight onto their Page Timelines, as well as in apps.
For example, brand administrators can now collect competition entries through asking users to comment or like a Page post.
Facebook have also announced an additional change to its Page Terms. In order to preserve the accuracy of Page content, Page’s are now prohibited from tagging people in content that they are not actually depicted in.
