How good are you to detect a Fake Website?

July 31, 2007

Phishing is a web term used to websites that attempt to acquire your personal details and information such as usernames, passwords, credit card details, etc.

The strategy is to have a fake website pretending to be an official website in order to collect innocent users’ data.

Inspired by a post on Quickonlinetips.com, I took the Mcafee phishing quiz to test my capability to spot fake and phishing website, I’ve got 3 wrong questions out of 10.

It’s impressive the details you can spot in a fake website, take the test and learn how to avoid theft and/or financial losses.

Also take the Spam test to verify if you can spot spammy websites.

Share your results on the comments,
