How to ask a link

How to Be polite

I receive a ton of spams a day and any unknown request is likely to fall under one of my filters but once an a while I’ll browse to check on mistakenly span tagged emails.

At one of this check I found a request that took my attention:

” Hi there,
My name is*******, I’m Development Manager for *******(http://www.******.com.au), an Australian SEO ************ and ********

I’ve been digging around a few websites over the past few days and I found your site ****** I’ve had a quick look around and I like what you’re saying. I was wondering if you might consider visiting our site and linking to us. (If you like what you see? Here’s the link: *******)

If you’re interested, it would be really great if you could let me know. If it doesn’t seem like your cup of tea (coffee, herbal beverage) you can just send me an email back with “NO” in the subject line and I won’t harass you again.

Thanks for your time!

Kind Regards”

That’s good, friendly and relevant,

Cheers

  1. Lucio,

That is definitely a nice way to ask for a link. I just got an email today asking for a request where the sender got the name of our blog incorrect, what we write about incorrect. I understand that someone sending link requests will have to use a standard template but for God sake try to be careful before sending it.
