What will be the results of this stupid idea ?

This plan will waste tens of millions of taxpayer dollars and slow down Internet access.

Despite being almost universally condemned by the public, ISPs, State Governments, Media and censorship experts, Communications Minister Stephen Conroy is determined to force this filter into your home.

What stupid idea !

What Australians are doing against this plan?

We are fighting back. The official website against Australia Censorship is No Clean Feed

What can I do?

You can do:

1) Contact the minister - More information at No Clean Feed website

2) You can sign up a petition - Stop Australian Internet Censorship

3) You can write to your local Representative - Find your local representative in Australia

If you have a website/blog

1) Sign up for the “Stop Internet Censorship in Australia “- blog carnival . A blog carnival is a type of blog event. It is similar to a magazine, in that it is dedicated to a particular topic, and is published on a regular schedule.

Example, When you write a post or a page related to the stupid idea , you can submit to the carnival . At the same time someone is also writing something about the same subject and submitting to the same carnival. Therefore all posts will be concentrate in one unique place.

Submit your article or post to the No clean feed Australia Blog Carnival .

or follow the posts/articles submitted on the end of this post, leaving your comment on the original blogs/websites.

2) Help to create

a Google bomb to the Mr. Senator Conroy. Link using the anchor text “stupid idea ” to the url of Mr Senator Stephen Conroy on http://www.minister.dbcde.gov.au/

Hopefully with your help and time, everytime someone googles “stupid idea ” the senator’s page will come as first result.
