Screw You Google. Well Done Ask!

Ask Search SEM and SEO

Ask.com is not the Biggest partner of SEO neither SEM, but they released a feature that got me clapping hands. The have launched AskEraser, a feature that gives consumers privacy control over their online searches for the First Time.

The move comes in reaction to other search engines that gather everything ( Big G ).

These Search engines have been getting critics due to their policies which have raised concerns because of the user-profiling nature of databasing users.

That’s how it works.

When Ask user switches the Option on, Ask eraser completely deletes all future search queries and associated cookie information from Ask.com servers, including IP address, Used Id, Session ID and the complete text of their queries.

Ok, You can say…”Yeah! But Google allows you to disable Web history”

and I say, bu*****t.

When you switch off you are just turning off your ability to view your Web history, but not Google.

You can find The Eraser link on the upper-right corner of ask.com

Cheers
